      Will a tap card (NFC card) always automatically work on a phone

      The short answer is not always (but most of the time). There are still some model phones that don't automatically open up on a phone

      SOLUTION 🔥 - When the tap card doesn't work for any reason, simple turn the tap card over and use the QR code.  To use a QR, have the homeowner open up their phone's camera and scan the QR code. It will automatically provide a link to your landing page.
